Top 100 Movies: No. 85 - X2: X-Men United (2003)

I was a fan of the X-Men comic books when I was a kid. Like many (or most) X-Men fans, my favorite character was also the most violent character, Wolverine. I always thought it would be cool to see him go berserk on screen. My wish came true when X2: X-Men United was released.

This flick has a decent story, great action and some hints about Wolverine’s past, more of which will follow in his upcoming origin story. The other heroes and bad guys weren’t too shabby either, especially Nightcrawler, who has a GREAT opening scene.

All of this adds up to X2 landing at No. 85 in my Top 100 Movies list.
